WINS Manchester

Sustainable Food for Greater Manchester

Women in Sustainability (WINS) exists to create a community of courageous women who want to use their voice to build a sustainable world.

Food is at the heart of our lives, and yet the food system is far from healthy – for us, for our children or for the planet. Come and join us and hear from two inspirational women leaders in the field of sustainable food:

Corin Bell is the Founder and Director of waste food social enterprise Open Kitchen MCR (formerly Real Junk Food Manchester).

Helen Woodcock co-founded Kindling Trust from a background in grassroots environmental and community activism. For her, Kindling is another crucial way to tackle “the unjust and damaging nature of the current system”

As ever there will be the space and opportunity to network and share experiences with colleagues in the wider sustainability community. There will also be the opportunity for delegates to update the group on news and events.

We look forward to seeing you there!
