WINS Network Online Event: Bringing Diversity of Thought to Climate Change Conversations

Explore how inclusive practices can be used to diversify the climate change conversations for, and by all

The urgency and importance of diverse voices in climate change conversations has never been more evident. Only 34% of COP26 committees, and 39% of those leading delegations were women.*

How can we ensure conversations are not told from a singular perspective and what action can be taken right now?

Join us for inspiring conversations with our select panel who will discuss their own experiences and practical ways to facilitate inclusive conversations for all. During this session we will explore:

  • Ways to collaborate and amplify conversations
  • Inclusion and inclusive practices and;
  • How they might be used to diversify climate change conversations for, and by all
  • What our role is as leaders in sustainability
  • How we might change our own conversations

We’ll be joined by Dr Nicola Patterson, Programme Director at Newcastle University Business School whose research interests are in entrepreneurship, leadership and diversity. As a qualified coach, Nicola’s approach is rooted in authentic leadership and believes individuals should deeply reflect upon their personal and professional development to prepare themselves socially and emotionally to thrive as leaders in chaotic, complex and dynamic environments.

Hear from recent research on inclusive practice and how it relates to our own roles and as individuals.

More speakers to be confirmed soon.

Early bird tickets are on sale now!
