Online: Co-Benefits of Carbon Reduction on Health & Society

How to get the 'right' messages across?

Reducing carbon emissions creates a cascade of positive impacts for our own personal health, for our workplaces and wider society.

How can we best communicate those co-benefits to create long-lasting and effective change?

This Women in Sustainability Network workshop brings together two experts from the fields of mental health – A/Professor Cary Barnes, MBBS, FRANZCP, MD, and behaviour change – Livvy Drake, Sustainable Sidekicks, to help us deepen our understanding of both carbon reduction from the health sector’s perspective and it’s practical application into creating sustainable and healthy workplaces.

By attending this session, you will;

* Understand the evidence based decision making influencing the health sector choices around how and where to reduce their carbon emissions.
* How this approach creates co-benefits for personal, societal and planetary health.
* How climate change is already impacting our mental health and the consequences this is having.
* How we can weave together the above with good behaviour change science to creating lasting and effective changes inside organisations.
