This event will provide a space for you to focus on yourself, to reconnect with your core values and explore how we can make our voices heard.

Our values underpin everything that we do and over the last 12 incredibly difficult months, it has been hard to remember or act upon those. During this event, we’d like to provide a space for you to rediscover your values and voice. When our minds feel like they’re in overdrive, space to pause and to find tools to declutter our minds can help us to reset.

To help us explore this topic, we’ll be joined by North East based entrepreneur Lizzy Hodcroft. Lizzy is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Newcastle based Discova, a mental health and well-being app and uses her own experiences to help others discover a path to fulfilment. Lizzy has an enormously ambitious and passionate vision and pro-active stance on mental health and well-being. Lizzy has previously run and sold a food business called The Sweet Beet which appeared on Dragon’s Den. In 2019, she delivered a TEDx talk to an audience of over 1500.

We’ll also be joined by Ashleigh King from Nurture Your Zest, a weekly podcast for the courageous, creative and curious! Ashleigh’s passion is to create a connection with listeners and opportunities for people whose stories may not often be heard. At the age of 32, Ash was diagnosed with ADHD which changed her life and her perspective of herself. This diagnosis has unlocked a whole new world and helped her re-find her voice. It is now her passion to help people share their stories with the world.
