Tynnu’r mwgwd: Sut y gallwn ni weithio â Syndrom Twyllwr? / Removing the mask: How can we work with Imposter Syndrome?

Ymunwch â ni i drafod sut y mae Syndrom Twyllwr yn effeithio ar ein gallu i fod yn rym er daioni wrth weithio yn y sector cynaliadwyedd / Join us to discuss how Imposter Syndrome affects our ability to be a force for good when working in the sustainability sector.

Pam fod cymaint o fenywod proffesiynol yn teimlo fel twyllwyr? Pam fod cymaint wedi’u difetha gan deimladau o annigonolrwydd a hunan-amheuaeth? A pham fod menywod yn fwy tebygol o gael eu heffeithio na dynion?  Ai problem y fenyw ydyw neu broblem yr amgylchedd yr ydym yn gweithio ynddo?

“Pam wnaethon nhw roi’r swydd hon i mi?”

“Dydw i ddim yn haeddu bod yma”

“Dydw i ddim digon da”

Rydyn ni’n clywed mwy a mwy am ba mor rhwystredig yw Syndrom Twyllwr i fenywod, gan effeithio ar ein gwaith, ein perthnasoedd a’n hiechyd.

Yn y sesiwn wyneb yn wyneb hon ym mhencadlys newydd Trafnidiaeth Cymru ym Mhontypridd, cewch gyfle i archwilio beth yw Syndrom Twyllwr, y gwahanol fathau o Syndrom Twyllwr a sut y gallwch chi ei adnabod ynoch chi ac eraill.

Bydd ein cyflwynwyr yn rhannu straeon ynglŷn â sut mae Syndrom Twyllwr wedi effeithio ar eu bywydau, ac yn trafod beth mae’n ei olygu i chi, ac i fenywod sy’n gweithio yn y sector cynaliadwyedd.

Byddwch chi’n dod i ffwrdd ag ambell gyngor ac offer i helpu gyda’ch hyder, gyda chefnogaeth gan gymuned o fenywod dewr a rhyfeddol yng Nghymru.

Why do so many professional women feel like they are a fraud, blighted by feelings of inadequacy and self-doubt. And why are women more likely to be affected than men?  Is it a woman’s problem or that of the environment we work in?

“Why did they give me this job?”

“I don’t deserve to be here”

“I’m not good enough”

We are hearing more and more about how incapacitating Imposter Syndrome is for women, affecting our work, relationships, and health.

In this face-to-face session at Transport for Wales’s new headquarters in Pontypridd, you will have the chance to explore what Imposter Syndrome is, different types of Imposter Syndrome and how you can identify it in yourself and others.

Our presenters will share stories about how Imposter Syndrome has affected their lives, and discuss what it means for you, and for women who work in the sustainability sector.

You will come away with some tips and tools to help with your confidence, supported by a community of amazing, courageous women in Wales.
