WINS Oxford: Walk and Talk in Wytham Woods

What is happening to nature? And why businesses need to know.

What is happening to nature? And why businesses need to know. Kim Polgreen, Youth Educator at Wytham Woods and WINS member will lead the way.

More than a walk in the woods.
We are so lucky to have Wytham Woods right on our doorstep – a cycle ride from Oxford – steep hill at the end, great ride home! There’s also plenty of car parking.

We will have a chance to meet each other (hooray!) safely outside and learn about the research that has been happening at Wytham since 1942.

Come prepared to learn, to experience the beauty of the woods and to enjoy being outside with others.
Leave better informed and renewed from time in nature.
As ever there will be opportunities to get to know other women working in sustainability better and to renew old friendships.

WINS member and Youth educator at Wytham Woods and ECI, Kim Polgreen will help us answer the question

What is happening to nature? And why businesses need to know.

Kim will talk about the history of the Woods, the research that is done there, some of the key findings related to climate change and biodiversity loss and the work they do with young people.

We will make frequent stops as we walk round to look and learn.

We will meet at the car park OX2 8QQ at 5.30. Please try to be there on time.
