Please join us for this WINS Stoke and Staffs Virtual Spring Social!

In this informal virtual social, WINS regular Dr Helen Rodgers will be giving her insights into the latest edition of Mike Berners-Lee’s book, “How Bad Are Bananas – The Carbon Footprint of Everything”. Helen is a Wind Farmer and Carbon Literacy Trainer. She’s recommended this book at previous WINS social’s so I’ve taken her up on her offer to chat to us about it! This social will include the usual WINS mix of:

• informal discussion,
• learning
• and connecting with like-minded ladies.

This social will be run as a “meeting” on Zoom, so we can engage and connect with each other. It doesn’t matter if you’ve not read this book in advance of the social. This event will help you decide if you want to buy it or borrow from someone.

Any ladies with an interest in Sustainability are welcome to join this online social. This is an opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues in the WINS network, and if you’ve not joined us before, you’re very welcome to come along to this informal evening.
