Embodied Regeneration – Online Workshop

Exploring what happens when we reintegrate our mind and body, bringing our whole selves into leadership

In our modern-day, linear, extractive economy, we have been taught to over-value logic and reason and under-value emotion and sensation in our bodies.

While as humans we have developed remarkable cognitive abilities that separate us from other mammals, we still have an ancient animal nervous system that speaks a different language to our rational minds. Our body and mind are deeply connected, yet we tend to walk around like floating heads, completely disconnected from our bodies.

What happens when we reintegrate those parts and bring our whole selves into leadership?

In this workshop you will learn the science of stress, emotions, and the nervous system as well as practical tools to regulate your nervous system, embody a sense of safety, and feel empowered in a VULCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) world.

With recent surveys reporting how over-worked and close to burn out nature and climate professionals are, it feels very timely to be delivering this training, aimed at equipping attendees with a deeper understanding of;

  • The body-mind connection
  • What are emotions?
  • What is stress?
  • How does the nervous system work?
  • What is anxiety / trauma / burnout?
  • How to regulate your nervous system
  • Why embodiment is essential for inner and outer regeneration
