Women in Sustainability is a thriving global women’s network of professionals leading and creating the green transition in our organisations and communities.
We may, or may not, have ‘sustainability’ in our job title, but our work is all about people and the planet, delivering the SDGs/ Global Goals. In fact a core rationale for the WINS Network is that we bring you from various sector silos and create a place for sharing, learning and belonging – together.
We help those navigating a corporate career or running their own businesses to access the community, inspiration and inner development to amplify, and sustain, their impact and influence. Through sharing our learning, stories and experiences, we cultivate women (and those identifying as women and non-binary) to lead with purpose and heart.
Our vision
Our vision is for every ‘woman in sustainability’ to have the capacity, courage and community they need to flourish and lead in these times.
We cultivate women to lead with purpose and heart. We do this through the WINS Membership and our Network events, in person and online, supported by our digital presence and communications.
We do this through a focus on;
- Community – careful curation of psychological brave spaces to gather together, to share, learn, collaborate, and grow.
- Inspiration – relatable role models, authentic stories, truth telling, courageous action, hope and optimism.
- Inner development – cultivating wisdom and intuition, alongside the transformational skills and capacities such as Being, Thinking, Relating, Collaboration, Acting (the Inner Development Goals), as well as incorporating feminine leadership perspectives and regenerative principles.
Our mission
To offer a brave, learning community to all women, and those identifying as women, to grow and amplify our impact and influence together.
We do this through the following strategies:
- Support ‘women in sustainability’ who want to deliver a programme of in person events and gatherings in their locality for other ‘WINS’ so we can ‘connect locally, impact globally’.
- Grow and nurture the WINS Membership to help resource & inspire purpose, passion & influence.
- Collaborate and partner with similar values led organisations and individuals.
Our values
We love bringing together women who share common values that include making a difference, treading lightly on this planet, being authentic and leading change. Those are our drivers too. Our values steer both how we roll as a business but also how we operate as a network, our local events programme and the WINS Membership.
